For so long, I believed that love—someone else’s love—would complete me. I thought if I checked all the right boxes—marriage, security, success—I would finally feel whole. And on paper, I had built an incredible life: a doctorate, a thriving consulting business, and 11 Ironman races. But beneath it all, something was missing.

I kept thinking, Why doesn’t this feel like the life I dreamed of?

The turning point came when I found myself standing at the altar, about to say yes—not to love, but to losing myself. Walking away was the hardest decision I’ve ever made, but it was also the first time I truly chose me.

That moment set me on a journey of self-discovery. I had spent so much of my life chasing external validation—believing that achievement, relationships, or approval would bring me fulfillment. But real fulfillment? It comes from living in alignment with who you truly are. Through deep reflection, mindfulness, and intentional action, I began to rebuild my life from the inside out.

I stopped living for expectations and started listening to my intuition. I learned that wholeness doesn’t come from checking society’s boxes—it comes from owning your truth, trusting yourself, and creating a life that feels like yours.​​
